Javed Hashmi lashes out at PML-N, PPP

Javed Hashmi, the President of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) lashed out at the Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), saying that both were on a path to inviting military rule in the country.

In his view, both the mainstream parties were worried due to PTI’s tumbling popularity prior to the upcoming general elections. In his view, both the PPP and the PML-N were not in mood to contest general polls rather inviting third force to come into power.

He observed, “They way the federal government was taking anti-public decisions coupled with the silent role that opposition was playing indicated that both the parties wished a military intervention”.

Quoting references from independent survey polls, he said the upcoming elections will prove that the PTI is the largest political force in the country. Both the PPP and the PML-N did not want free and fair elections when their popularity graph was continuously falling, he added.

Giving weight to his arguments, Hashmi said the 20th Constitutional amendment was a vivid example of the fact that both the traditional parties made efforts to manipulate the polls.

He said the centre and Punjab were making people befool to plunder the public money, urging intelligence agencies to prevent them from doing so.

While replying to a query about ruling of the Speaker National Assembly, who dismissed bids to disqualify Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani following his conviction by the Supreme Court, Hashmi termed it a wrong decision that will haunt the government in the coming days.

In his view, the Speaker has wrongly compared his case with that of Prime Minister Gilani, explaining he was proved innocent and clean while he was convicted for breaching the law.

Commenting about upcoming Liaquat Bagh rally he noted, “Back in 1970, I addressed a rally in the historic park and at that time Sharif brothers did not even know what politics really was. I will teach them a lesson and will disclose many things on Sunday”.

In his view, the Sunday’s public gathering would shatter the dreams of rival political parties particularly the PML-N in the Potohar region.

This guy has clearly lost his mind and his ability to speak. He should resign from politics and save the nation from watching a freak show with Mr. Playboy.
