Which one is a better choice: Samsung Galaxy S III or iPhone 4S – Part 1

Samsung launched the new Samsung Galaxy S III on May 3 in the UK. Since its media release, the phone has been tipped as the next big thing in the smartphone industry. For many reasons it is. It is only natural that the new S III is compared head-to-head with Apple’s iPhone 4S, released October, 2011.

There are just reasons why both handsets should be compared with each other though they work on entirely different platforms and have differences in stark contrast. However, both S III and 4S are flagship smartphones from the world’s leading technology companies thriving in mobile computing industry.

For reasons justified following post will compare both handsets in design, features, operating system and internet connectivity/web browsing.

Design

It is clear with the naked eye that the Galaxy S III has is slimmer and lighter to the hand and has a bigger screen and even bigger foot print. On the other hand, 4S boasts a smaller foot print and even small screen size that has become synonymous to the handset as it is the only size that iPhone has boasted since the original release in 2007.

At smaller size, the 4S is a better handset to handle. It is quite easy to use with a single hand because every corner is reachable. S III is less feasible option in this regard. Its bigger foot print forces the use of both hands, but it also has a bigger screen that is good for video watching and even general use.
