Sony Xperia S: Review
Tuesday, May 29th, 2012 7:06:51 by Farasat AliSony-Ericsson have changed their name recently after buying the Swedish firm, Ericsson. The Japanese firm is intended to provide their users with smart phones with enhanced software, Android.
During the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, ??the new CEO of Sony, Kazuo Hirai, dispelled all doubts, not only about the advertising aspect, but he described this division as a key to the future of the giant.
He also assured the users of providing Playstation with excellent sound quality and video playback and a camera which could be more enhanced as compared to the competitive companies are offering.
Having so many divisions and lines of business has been a headache for Sony but it is also serving as a highlight to their new phones in various fields with an enviable balance.
Xperia S wants to be the most representative of this new line. The phone costs as an iPhone 4S, 599 Euros. It is only available in the market, either black or white. It has 32 ??gigabytes of internal memory, expandable via MicroSD
card.
In many respects, they have followed the trail of Apple, which gives a feel that it has been carefully designed both functionally and aesthetically. The amazing fact about this device is that the user can remove its battery and
ca use Micro SIM instead of using the SIM card to connect to the voice network.
One of the weaknesses of Android is precisely the operating system upgrade. In this case, there latest offering uses Android 2.3, instead of the more advanced 4.0. In the terminal box the user may find it that states that it is
‘upgradeable’ much to the delight of the respective users.
Another option is for the amateur users are some built-in enhanced programs. They can turn on GPS and exercise programs to measure the duration of the run, calories burned, training progress. Furthermore, the phone slides back
and returns to normal operation after the user returns home.
The creative possibilities of Sony mobile, apart from editing applications that can be downloaded as Instagram, are vast. The camera is activated without delay, record HD video at 1080 pixels, and shoots photos at 12 megapixels.
The interface is very similar to that of their cameras, Cyber shot, so it includes the option of continuous shooting. It also makes 360-degree panorama with surprising ease.
