Shah Rukh Khan says he is not going to apologize to anyone
Thursday, May 31st, 2012 10:30:01 by Imran Shaukat KhanBollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who co-owned Indian Premier League team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) with Juhi Chawla, locked many headlines in the country during the IPL season after he got into an ugly brawl with the MCA officials at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
Khan has been banned from entering the Stadium for five-years but still he is in no mood of apologizing to anyone since he believes he was not at fault.
The 46-year-old actor, who is often referred to as the King of Bollywood, recently had an exclusive interview with the ‘Times of India’, in which he said he was provoked and he will not apologize to anyone.
The actor further insisted that he is not concerned with the ban from entering in the Wankhede Stadium.
Khan told TOI, “Let me make this very clear, I am not apologising to anybody. I only apologise to my kids for what happened, I apologise to myself for having gone there. I will also not take on an organization (MCA) for the actions of one or two individuals.
Khan remarked, “It doesn’t matter to me if I go to Wankhede or not.”
During the fight, which took place on Wednesday night, May 16, SRK was seen abusing a man wearing a yellow shirt and the actor is still furious over the man.
“There was a man wearing a yellow shirt that night who spoke rudely with me. People expect me to remember his name? I don’t even remember names of my co-actors. If that man comes in front of me, I will beat him. He said things that were trash, unsecular and unworthy of my repeating them. I have lived in Mumbai for more than 20 years, have my domicile here, my home and family here. I am as much Indian as that idiot who made the comment or anyone else in this country.”
Well, all said and done, let’s see how people respond to this statement.
