Flipboard comes to Android
Friday, June 1st, 2012 5:20:05 by Awais KhanApple is given little praise, let alone the recognition but find itself as a meagre exception. Flipboard was launched in 2010, at the same time iPad came in the market and was publicly lauded for the features it brought to the market.
Merit of the tablet manufacturer was their ability to adapt their hardware in an incomparable way. Flipboard proposes a different reading experience, more intuitive, clear, and entertaining theme, a reader of tweets, blogs and Facebook.
If we add the ability to share whatever you want directly with the contacts and the possibility of subject content chosen by professionals at home or a selection of curators (something like selectors) we have a practical application this is addictive to
say the least.
It seemed destined to be the application to be pre-installed in all phones, and was first launched on the iPhone, a lighter version with less depth, but just as much practicable.
In mid-March, at the launch of Samsung Galaxy S III saw Flipboard being preinstalled for the first time.
Flipboard is now following the same strategy as Instagram, starting off with a market share in Apple apps and then embarking on the adventure of doing the same with a myriad of devices, each with a different screen sizes, button layouts, and processor performance.
