PML-Q appreciates govt. for Budget 2012-13

Islamabad: (Friday, June 01, 2012) Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, President Pakistan Muslim League Quaid-e-Azam (PML-Q), while welcoming the federal budget 2012-13, has appreciated the government for allocating a significant chunk of
money for resolving the energy crisis in Pakistan.

Being considerate of the relief that the Pakistan Peoples’ Party led coalition has been able to dish out for all the segments of the society, Shujaat said that under present circumstances, a better budget could not be expected.
He said, “In the present circumstances, it was a good budget presented by the government.”

Shujaat shared his views over budget while talking to a private television channel.

He also appreciated Federal Minister for Finance Dr Abdul Hafeez Shaikh over his sustained struggle to present a people friendly budget for the fiscal year 2012-13. He particularly highlighted that the budget will provide relief
to the poor and vulnerable segments of the society.

Expressing regard for the budget proposals presented by the opposition, Shujaat said that positive proposals from the opposition will also be included into the budget.

Hailing the government for not imposing any new tax on the people, he concluded by saying, “No new tax would be imposed in the next financial year is a good step of the government.”
