Altaf Hussain expresses grief over the killing of Syed Qarar Ali

Karachi: (Tuesday, June 12, 2012) Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain has expressed extreme grief and sorrow over the killing of ex-MPA Syed Shakir Ali’s brother Syed Qarar Ali and injuring of Syed Zakir Ali.

Altaf Hussain, in a statement issued here today, offered his sincere sympathies and condolence to the bereaved family members and said that the blood of the MQM workers, sympathizers and the general public will not go into waste
and those behind these heinous crimes will be brought to the task.

Requesting the grieving family to bear the loss with patience, Altaf said that their grief was felt by him and all the MQM workers equally.

Altaf, while praying for the departed soul, prayed Allah Almighty to bless his soul and descend serenity on his family members.

He also prayed for the early recovery of the injured Syed Zakir Ali.
