Will the new MacBook Pro (2012) be a powerful gaming laptop? – Part 2
Tuesday, June 12th, 2012 5:50:11 by Usman KhalidThere are number of features and specifications in the new Pro. In fact, all the specs of the previous MacBook Pro albeit the optical drive are inside the chassis of this new iteration. That amasses a lot of weight, making the heavier in the bunch of thinnest laptops. The new Pro weigh 4.46 pounds, same as the 13-inch MacBook Pro from last year. But that is a bother only if you have a habit of cranking open a critical balance.
The last thing to see in a laptop is the battery timing. There are no doubt a number of high-end professional and gaming laptops in the market but all of them are data hungry and run out of juice in three to four hours whereas, Apple claims the new MacBook Pro lasts for an astonishing seven hours and thirty minutes and a week of stand-by.
From the looks of it, the new MacBook Pro has inherited genes from both Pro and Air from last year and has arranged them in a very romantic way that has made it the first of its kind that offers both productivity and portability.
Sure, the final verdict on the 2012 model can only be issued after a series of rigorous exams that will test its mettle in both performance and looks but at the first look and at least on paper, it becomes the best choice for games and for professional work.
