Selling ??items in exchange for real money has been declared illegal in South Korea and students will not be able to follow this business enterprise in the future. The decision to ban this business system has been taken by the MINISTRY OF Culture, Sports and Tourism, as published by Korea Times.

The intent of this measure and will be detailed in a month to prevent students from dropping classes and wasting their time to buying and selling items for games.

“The main objective of the games is fun and should be used for other purposes such as education,” Kim Kap-soo said, one of the Korean ministers who is a staunch advocate of this measure.

The Korean political class believes that these buy-sell systems can lead to “youth crime”, and hence they are ready to shuffle up to $ 43,000 in fines for breaches of the measure.
