OGRA issues notice for petroleum price reduction

Islamabad: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has issued notification for slashing the petroleum prices by as much as Rs 11.75 for next fifteen days.

After coming down by about Rs 10.46/ litre, the new petrol price stands at Rs 89.51 per litre.

Diesel, that experienced a decrease of Rs 6.80, will now be sold at Rs 99.69 per litre, while the consumers will have to pay Rs 86.57 for a litre of light speed diesel oil after reduction of over 5 rupees in its price.

Kerosene oil, after its prices revised and down by Rs 5.26, will now be sold at Rs 88.79 per litre for next two weeks.  The price for High Octane Blending Component (HOBC) has been brought down by Rs 11.75 and now it will be available
at Rs 113.32 per litre at all outlets.

Finally, in order to provide the consumers a relief and to loosen up the inflationary pressure, OGRA has also decided to slash the Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) prices. The new prices will be down by Rs 4.80 to Rs 4.82.
