Former WBA heavyweight champion, David Haye, will take on his archrival Dereck Chisora at the West Ham’s Upton Park on July 14 and he has vowed to hammer out a message to Vitali Klitschko by ‘annihilating’ Chisora in the ring.

Vitali defeated Chisora on points in their fight during February but still many out there are considering it as an evidence of his decline since almost everyone expected a knockout from him.

However, the 31-year-old brash Londoner, who is also known as the Hayemaker, believes he will be able to stop Chisora between the rounds.

“If you look at the names on my record, a win over Dereck Chisora would mean nothing to me,” Haye told BoxNation.

“It’s the manner in which I dispatch him that I care about. I don’t want to go out there and be sluggish. I don’t want him to win any rounds, I’m going to annihilate him. I want to show the difference between what Vitali can do to him and what I can do to him.”

Haye-Chisora fight is taking place outside the jurisdiction of the British Boxing Board of Control because Haye officially announced his retirement last year whereas Chisora’s boxing license was withdrawn after he remained involved in many controversies before and after his fight with Vitali.

Nevertheless, Haye feels Chisora will not do anything stupid this time.

“There’s such a spotlight on him that he’d be absolutely stupid to try anything now. Plus he knows he’s getting a payday,” Haye said. “He’s tried silly nonsense before and he’s been fined hundreds of thousands – money he hasn’t got. He can’t afford to be given fines of that size. He knows he’s getting a decent payday, so why should he jeopardise that?”

Well, all said and done, Haye-Chisora fight is one of the most eagerly awaited fight at this point in time but let’s see if Haye can really beat Chisora in front of a crowd of over 40,000 people.
