Pro-Judiciary rally in Karachi – Police baton charge PTI protestors

Karachi: (Monday, June 18, 2012) During a pro-judiciary rally here in Karachi, the police baton charged the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf workers.

According to the details, as the pro-judiciary rally proceeded and the protestors tried to enter the red zone, the police officials tried to stop them. This triggered a clash between protestors and the police officials.

The police also used water guns to disperse the protestors near the Fawara Chowk area of the city.

The police has arrested several PTI workers which also include the Party Secretary General Dr Arif Alvi and Asad Umer.
