Aamir Khan all set to discuss medical issues with the parliamentary panel!

Bollywood superstar, Aamir Khan, not too long ago, locked many headlines in the country after he highlighted malpractices in the medical sector on his ‘Satyamev Jayate’ TV programme. After the episode, which was broadcasted on May 27, the actor made many enemies in the medical department but it looks as if his efforts have not gone wasted since he has been invited by a parliamentary panel for an interaction on the issue.

Rajya Sabha MP, Shanta Kumar, of the Bharatiya Janata Party, who heads the parliamentary standing committee on commerce, has invited the 47-year-old artist in order to discuss the matter with him and also share the knowledge which he gained while researching on the matter.

The news was confirmed to IANS by Aamir’s spokesperson, who revealed that Khan will meet the panel on Thursday morning to discuss the matter.

During the episode of his show on May 27, Khan exposed the corruption in the medical department, which includes issue like malpractices, over-pricing of life saving drugs, scandals and blackmailing etc.

After the episode, many in the Indian Medical Association (IMA) went against Khan as they claimed he has accused them for no reason.

Well, all said and done, Khan’s effort have paid him off finally and let’s hope that the government now takes a notice of the issue.

Meanwhile, Aamir’s close friend and the superstar of Bollywood industry Salman Khan is all praises for him.

Salman has recently shared his thoughts with the media, in which he said Aamir is doing the best possible work out there through his show.

Addressing the media, Salman said, “I am proud of Aamir. He is doing the best job through his show.”

Salman also tweeted, “Wah yaar amirkhan , teeluu ne toh kamaal kar dikha ya , yaar ab jisko hindi nahi aati vo zara pls isko translate karva lena, thank u (sic).”
