Gamefest 2012 cancelled

Gamefest not be held in 2012 . The festival that originally scheduled for late September-early October in Madrid, IFEMA, will not happen eventually. The next edition of the fair held in 2013 with expected developments.
“The organization announced that the next edition of Gamefest will not take place in 2012. Thank you all for the interest and stay attentive to 2013,” he said in a message on Twitter.
Although the retailer GAME, organizer of the fair, has guaranteed the economic viability in Spain after the crisis experienced, it was decided to cancel the annual national fair open to players.
The latest edition of Gamefest reached 60,000 attendees and included the presence of all consoles on the market, including Playstaion Vita, who had not yet reached the stores during the last quarter of last year .
One of the highlights of the exhibition game was Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. They also had presence Tomb Raider and Hitman: Absolution. Gamefest was first held in 2010, was attended personalididades as Steve Ballmer of Microsoft.
