Microsoft will not showcase the new Xbox any time soon

This past weekend saw a Microsoft leaked  document dated 2010 and relating to the future Xbox console hit the news waves. The documents included references to the characteristics (3D glasses, Kinect 2, etc..) And its price, $ 299.

Now, Microsoft has released a statement via Eurogamer where it is held outside the leaked documents, but recognizes and understands that the expectation that raises its home console future is high.

“We understand that there is great interest in what happens with the next Xbox and are pleased that the players are so excited about the platform. Is the best Xbox 360. We have found new ways to expand the life cycle of the console” they explain.

The company refers to Kinect technology, the camera with motion detector, and its ability to attract new audiences to the home console, and highlights that there is still life on Xbox 360.

Finally, the technology firm indicates that talk about the new Xbox “when you have something to say.” One possibility is that the console is present at the next E3 in Los Angeles in June 2013.
