Priyanka Chopra admits she gets affected by rumours!

Bollywood actress and former Miss World, Priyanka Chopra, gave the industry this year’s first blockbuster in the shape of ‘Agneepath’ but she has been in the news more for her alleged link-ups than her work and films this year.

Last year Chopra played a lead role opposite to the ‘King of Bollywood’ Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Don 2’ and since then she has been accused of being a home-breaker because rumours revolving around suggested as if she and SRK have started an affair during their participation in the film.

Apart from this, Chopra has also been linked-up with the likes of Shahid Kapoor and Akshay Kumar. However, in spite of all the allegations, the actress has always maintained her stance but she has admitted that she gets affected by all the rumours.

While talking to daily times monitor, Chopra insisted that people simply forget that she is a girl. Priyanka said whenever she talks to anyone, people start assuming things and it annoys her.

“Yes, it affects me. I still feel bad when unnecessary things are discussed. Think from a regular girl’s perspective. How would she feel if her talking to guys is questioned? If she is generally chatting up with a boy and it is assumed each time that she will get married to him. It is just annoying,” said the actress.

“I think people forget that I am a girl who is sensitive to such things and may get hurt in the bargain. They just remember that I am an actress and probably that’s why they discuss me so much. People say one gets used to it after a point on of time, but no, I haven’t gotten used to it. I think it is very rude to discuss such things,” added PC.

Priyanka Chopra will be seen on the big screen this Friday in ‘Teri Meri Kahaani’. In the movie she will play a lead role opposite to Shahid Kapoor.
