Islamabad: (Saturday, June 23, 2012) After a significant reduction in the petroleum prices, the same are expected to be reduced further by Rs 3 throughout the country. The new rates are expected to be deem effected from July 1.
According to the sources, the advice submitted to the government in this regard proposed a reduction in petrol prices by Rs 3 per litre.
The sources shared that the price of crude oil in international market has gone down by $ 4 per barrel in the last eight days. Therefore, Pakistan is also looking forward to revise the oil prices.
As per the new proposed prices, petrol will go down by Rs 3 per litre, while diesel will observe a reduction of Rs 1 in its current price.
Sources further claimed that kerosene and light diesel oil prices may also go down by Rs 1.5 per litre, while the HOB may witness a decrease of Rs 5 per litre in its price.
