Rakhi Sawant: Kareena and Katrina are not good item girls!

Rakhi Sawant, who is famously known as for her outspokenness, is not happy with the likes of Kareena Kapoor and Katrina Kaif since she thinks they are actresses and shouldn’t do item songs.

Kareena Kapoor’s item song ‘Chammak Challo’ and Katrina Kaif’s ‘Chikni Chameli’ did an excellent business at the box office and they were liked a lot by the people in the country. However, Rakhi feels that there doing item songs is not fair with the other item girls of the industry.

Rakhi told TOI, “Kareena and Katrina are not good item girls. I didn’t like them in “Chammak Chalo” or “Chikni Chameli”. I don’t like them as item girls, but as actresses, I love them. Also, they’ve stolen my job. Humari rozi roti chheen li hai in sab ne. I have never been like that. Mujhe kisi ka haq cheenna achcha nahi lagta. But now that I’m being offered acting roles, I’m accepting them all. I’m doing a lot of films now as an actress. If they can do it, why can’t I?”

Rakhi is currently gearing up for the Bengali remake of Vidya Balan’s film ‘The Dirty Picture’, which was released last year on December 10.

Rakhi is fully confident that she will overshadow Balan’s performance in the remake since the films is based on an item girls life. She has claimed that after the film people will start calling her ‘the female serial kisser’.

She remarked, “I will be better than Emraan Hashmi in kissing, I will be called the female serial kisser.”

During the interview, Rakhi also revealed that she doesn’t want to marry anyone or be in a relation because she knows she will never get permission for the kind of work she wants to do.

She said, “I don’t want to marry anyone. I see things differently today. It’s a lot of fuss – my boyfriend or partner will certainly object to my work. He’ll tell me not to wear this, not to say this, not to do this role, that role, etc.”

Well, all said and done, Balan’s ‘Dirty Picture’ brought her a National Award and along with a lot of fame but let’s see if Rakhi Sawant can really bring something new for the audiences.
