Veena Malik: I don’t think I will ever get married!

The controversial queen of Pakistan, Veena Malik, who has always been in the news for wrong reasons in the country, was expected to get married on the reality TV show ‘Veena Ka Swayamvar’ but unfortunately the show was aborted after the channel owners decided to shut down its operations.

However, the model-turned-actor is not upset at all because she believes her marriage plans are doomed.

The 28-year-old remained in an intense relationship with the tainted Pakistani cricketer Muhammad Asif and in India she started an affair with the actor Ashmit Patel during her stint in the ‘Bigg Boss’ house.

While speaking on her inclusion, the actress insisted that every time she has thought of marrying someone something has gone wrong.

Perhaps this is a reason why the actress now feels she will never get married to anyone.

“You know, my wedding dates have been getting ready ever since I was 14. My dad wanted me to get married since then. My parents tried to get me settled down four times and every time I backed out,” Veena told IANS.

She further added, “But when ‘Swayamvar… ‘ happened, my abu and my friends supported me a lot. When I was ready for it (marriage), it didn’t happen. I think my marriage plans are jinxed. It has been cancelled many a times.”

She said, “If ‘Swayamvar…’ would have happened, may be I would have even got married. When it got cancelled, my dad was very upset. Something is wrong with my wedding (kuch toh gadbad hai mere shaadi main). I don’t think I will ever get married.”

During the interview, Veena also revealed that she was not upset when ‘Swayamvar’ was shut down. The actress stated it was nothing new to her.

Veena Malik is currently participating in the upcoming film ‘Mumbai 125 Km’. Though Veena has always rejected accusations, there are a lot of noises in the air which suggest that perhaps she is having an affair with the director of the film, Hemant Madhukar.

Well, all said and done, let’s hope Veena Malik finds her Mr. Right.
