Malaysia’s best ever player Lee Chong Wei is gradually recuperating after getting an uncharacteristic ankle injury in last month’s Thomas Cup Finals and is expected to live up to the expectations of his countless fans all over the world by showing his class
in upcoming Olympics Games 2012.
The 29-year-old Chong Wei, who has lost his top positions after more than three years and is now World Number Two in Men’s Singles world placements, is getting back to his normal routine with every passing day and also getting best medical treatment to get
rid of his injury as soon as possible ahead of Olympics.
The impressive Malaysian, who is also known as King of Super Series, has skipped two important tournaments including Indonesia Open Premier Super Series and Singapore Open Super Series as he was not in a condition to play his normal game due to the intensity
of the injury.
However, his millions of fans are praying for his health as they strongly wish him to compete at Olympics and win the gold medal which will be the first ever title for Malaysia as well as no Malaysian shuttler has ever won a gold at Olympic Games since badminton
became an Olympic sport in 1992.
Chong Wei has been remained consistent at international stage for the last three years and won many Super Series and Premier Super Series titles.
Unfortunately, Chong Wei could not win World Championships or Olympic Games and now is the best bet of Malaysia to complete his legacy by winning the gold at Olympics.
The Malaysian hero said that he is still uncertain about his full recovery ahead of the mega event but at the same time he does not want to let down the hopes of his fans and it pushing himself to the limit to get fit to make his participation possible in

Chong Wei has started light training in the court and has also started to jog in order to keep himself as fit as possible under the current crucial situation.
