Islamabad: (Tuesday, June 26, 2012) Considering the presently dismal internal affairs of Pakistan and the forthcoming presidential elections in India that are just around the corner, the talks between the foreign ministers of the
two countries have been postponed till an undecided date sometime in August or September.
However, the countries have decided to continue with the bilateral talks at secretary levels. A round of these talks have already held while in the next round, the officials on both sides are going to meet in the first week of
next month in New Delhi.
The next session of the talks is expected to discuss, and if possible, to resolve issues between the two countries that have been ongoing for decades, including the Kashmir dispute and for reviewing review progress of the second
round of the peace process between the nuclear-armed neighbours.
