Lahore: (Wednesday, June 27, 2012) The Lahore High Court (LHC), while hearing the dual office of President Asif Ali Zardari case, set a deadline of Sep 5 and asked him to stop political activity while sitting in the presidency.
Earlier today, the Lahore High Court gave president Zardari one more chance to follow the court’s orders. However, while doing so, the court made it clear that if this time the orders would not be followed, contempt proceedings
would be initiated against him.
Headed by Chief Justice LHC Umar Ata Bandial, a three member bench heard the case relating to contempt of court being done by the President Asif Ali Zardari as he has not given up his political activities while being in the President
House.
Last year, on May 12, a full bench of the Lahore High Court in its verdict, said that president Zardari could not continue as co-chair of a political party while sitting in the presidency.
The bench had directed president Zardari to either step down as President or forego his position as co-chair of the Pakistan Peoples’ Party.

The courts should not issue such orders to the President who is head of the country. The courts should leave within their limits. All the judges in the country are corrupt and corruption has started from these courts. The politicians and the so called media should not encourages these judges because they are damaging the image of the country.
