The best tablets that money could buy (2012) – Part 2
Wednesday, June 27th, 2012 4:16:31 by Usman KhalidMost of the laptops use dedicated graphic cards that make them the suitable candidate for graphics-hungry applications. No one can deny that a desktop still has its place and the same analogy goes for laptops. But there are now tablets that have discrete graphics sources like in Apple’s new iPad that can help the user with these applications to some extent, especially on the go.
Not a single laptop these days can offer 7 to 10 hours of battery life. Tablets, more than a few at the least, offer minimum of 7 hours of battery juice. Some have optional docks with extra battery that extent charge life to more than 10 hours.
Finally, comes the price. There are, undoubtedly, some ultrabooks that are up for grabs for less than $900. However, compared to tablets, these prices are still high. A high-end tablet, in this case a 64 GB 4G LTE iPad, maxes out at $730.
Following are some of the tablets that have high-end specifications and are slim and beautiful to use … and show off.
The New iPad 2012 (Apple) 16 GB WiFi
Although there was no problem with the display of the iPad 2, released in 2011, but as it goes for Apple, there is no neutral or reverse gear, on D and D2 at that. The company swallowed the bitter swig on weight and depth of the device but the ultimate result was simply mesmerizing.
The new iPad became the second device to have the Retina Display and the first one to embrace the 4G LTE technology. There have been many devices with 4G but what Apple’s device churns out has no match to it.
Apple released the new iPad in March and by the end of its first week of sales, the company had already sold around 3 million of the tablet. This meant a successful innovation from a company that is known for such initiatives.
