New Delhi: (Tuesday, July 03, 2012) S M Krishna, India’s Minister for External Affairs has said that Pakistan needs to do more with regard to controlling terrorism. However, he was of the view that the issue of terrorism, like
ever, has not held the ‘dialogue process’ hostage.
Pinning down hopes with the Confidence Building Measures that are being taken between the two countries and the talks that are on way, Krishna, who was returning back from Tajikistan, said that bitter feelings from the past between
the South Asian neighbours were no longer there.
The remarks from India’s minister for external affairs have prevailed at a time when Foreign Secretaries of both the countries are meeting to carry forward the peace negotiation process.
Earlier, on his arrival to India, Pakistan’s Foreign Secretary Jalil Abbas Jilani said that Pakistan was willing to help out India in its fight against terrorism.
