Amir Khan vs. Danny Garcia: Angel Garcia shoots racism comments against Khan

Danny Garcia’s trainer and father Angel Garcia has been actively commenting against Khan’s every move. According to Angel, is son is a supernatural being who can take on anyone and everyone in the ring.

Angel verbally attacked in their previous press conference but this time he went overboard. After being unable to break Khan’s confidence and composure, Angel Garcia has now hit the British-Pakistani boxer with racism comments, commenting on his Pakistani descent in particular.

“This guy never faced a Puerto Rican in his goddamn life. He never faced a Puerto Rican hungry like Danny. I’m going to tell you the truth. No more beating around the bush. I’m tired of all the bullshit. I’m tired of all the bullshit that goes on behind [closed doors] in boxing,” said a frustrated trainer who happens to be Garcia’s father too.

“Khan is a nobody. He is a European fighter from Europe. Danny is an American fighter. That’s the point. That’s the difference. … And then you have all of these TV shows and I’m not going to name names, all they want to do is criticize the American fighters. So you could say something on TV that’s going to hurt you for the rest of your life. That’s the problem we have in America,” he added.

Furthermore, Angel Garcia claimed that he has not seen a single Pakistani fighter who has the guts to beat an American.

While his father chose to personally attack Khan, Danny kept his comments limited to the sport. Danny came up saying that it is about time for Khan’s brand to end. However, Khan believes this is just his start to a better career.

In his previous interview, Khan came up saying that he wants to move up in weight after beating Garcia. Khan wishes to fight fighters like Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao.

As of now, Khan will be taking on Danny Garcia for the WBC light welterweight title, along with the vacant WBA light welterweight title.
