Tuesday, July 10th, 2012 11:28:47 by Usman KhalidApple’s iPhone is undoubtedly one of the most successful phones in the history of mobile telecommunications, not only the best smartphone but the best phone overall. However, there are now many other contenders in the market that might give the Cupertino-giants a run for their money. The Times they are a-changin’.
Android operating system from Google has taken root in the smartphone market and is getting better and better with every new release. The new Android 4.1 Jelly Bean is just another example of how the software is evolving. It, therefore, can be easily said that the iOS competitor has found its footing firmly in the market.
Gone are the days when the Apple phone was the only choice in the market for a smartphone. Now, the Android phones are becoming better and better and in some respects they are even getting ahead of the iPhone, in terms of specs. There are more quad-core smartphone in the market then one can count on one hand and the dual-cores are getting good reviews as well.
iPhone 4S brought the new camera technology called the iSight that incorporates five lenses and a bigger aperture coupled with IPS technology to provide natural colours. However, there are now Android smartphones that give even better cameras, though in a premium price. Sony Xperia Arc S with 12-mega pixel is one example to quote.
Though Microsoft’s Windows Phone operating system is also narrowing the margin of lead taken by Android and iOS but the OS should be given at least one year to play catch-up with two market leaders.
For that reason, here are some of the Android phones that are getting the best responses in the market and are selling like hot cakes.

does the android 4.0 the best operating system other than the jelly bean
Dear Cusomer,
Android 4.1, or Jelly Bean, is the latest iteration of the operating system and has more than a 100 new features. That makes it better than the Ice Cream Sandwich, or Android 4.0.

Usman.
