Roku LT/HD

The most inexpensive of the online streaming devices is Roku LT. Although other variants from Roku are also the least expensive, given their feature sets, but LT offers the best services package for the buck paid.

It streams videos in HD resolution, up to 720p, and has widest variety of applications and services. Its ability to streaming video and audio content from free-control applications available online, it is the best choice.

It offers the top-of-the-line third-party applications like Netflix, Amazon Video On Demand, Hulu Plus, Crackle, Mediafly, MLB.TV, NHL GameCenter, NBA Game Time, MLS MatchDay Live, UFC, Pandora, MOG, Rdio, TuneIn Radio, Flickr, Al Jazeera English, FoxNews.com, NBC News, Facebook photos, Flickr and a host of free-control services.

The interface is a little old-fashioned but it works well on the inexpensive hardware that rightly justifies the $50 price. It has the smallest footprint in all of the media streaming options. Its WiFi connects to the internet and streams videos and audio seamlessly.

However, for this low price, the user will have to compromise on YouTube. On the other hand, HBO Go and Epix are available to those users who have subscribed to their internet-based versions on the compatible ISPs.

Roku HD is another options and though it is $10 expensive than the LT with more or less the same list of services and applications, it is available in the market. Roku LT one the other hand is usually out of stock at stores.

Moreover, there are no restriction on television sets, A/V cinch set lets the users connect the device to both LCD and CRT televisions as well.
