Imran Khan says no future of Pakistan in presence of feudal class

Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan on Thursday said that there was no future of the country if the people didn’t defeat feudal class.

He observed, “This is that class, I tell the people of Pakistan, which if not defeated then this country will have no future”.

Commenting about the recently passed Contempt of Court Act 2012, the cricketer-turned-politician said that parliamentarians those approved the bill were shameless and even didn’t know definition of true democracy.

He observed, “Democracy meant self accountability and transparency. Politicians declare their assets first in democracies while in Pakistan they stash their money in foreign banks”.

He stated that the United States had done nothing to Turkey and Iran because their leaders were not for sale, adding that a lion is at the helm of affairs in Turkey who refuted Rs 30 billion dollars offer as transit fee to let American Army cross through his country.

Quoting example from the history, he said it was not British who defeated Tipu Sultan instead it was Mir Sadaq who helped them.

He said that he knows how expensive a foreign tour can be, yet the present leaders despite their minuscule declared assets were making extravagant foreign tours.

He added, “The first thing in democracy is accountability and transparency. The leader starts accountability from home”.

In Europe, he said the leader first revealed his assets, his sources of income and the amount of taxes he had paid.

One cannot contest elections at any stage without these three things. One has to go to jail if they lie about their assets.

He remarked, “Those who have declared their assets look at their declared assets and their lifestyles. When you take a look at their assets, you will say add them to the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP)”.

He asked people to look at the lifestyles of these leaders saying that the leaders spent their holidays too lavishly to have such little assets. He was of the opinion that the politicians should reveal the sources of their income.

Commenting on the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Fasih Bukhari’s statement of daily corruption worth Rs8 billion per day, Imran Khan said that those who were indulging in the corruption have made a law for themselves that does not let the court touch them.

Yes but does anyone care ? As those policing them too are playing same game, hence the state of country’s treasury, which is empty and has been piling up debt notes to be repaid thru further borrowings !
This Country simply does not have a Tax Base, and no Political Party is likely to change that !

My teacher used to say that when Redundancy becomes an integral Part of Speeches of a leader then its demise is going to start sooner or later. Mr Imran Khan please add diversity in your speeches as Redundancy does not work everytime.

Dear, nothing can be changed in our country if all are not treated equally. We have different justice for generals, justices, journalists and all powerful and an other for ordinary people. Our industrialists get heavy loans from banks declare bankruptcy and siphon out billion of rupees to other countries where they establish industry. Our traders do not pay proper taxes but no one can ask them. Until and unless roll of agencies is not brought under control of law peace and prosperity can not be brought to the people of Pakistan. We have all possible natural resources but powerful do not want to share with down trodden people.
