Nawaz Promises economic revolution if entrusted with power again
Thursday, July 19th, 2012 7:10:07 by Fayyaz YaseenKarachi: (Thursday, July 19, 2012) Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif, who is on his visit to Sindh these days, said that his past regimes are still remembered for economic prosperity in the country, and if
entrusted with power again, his party will carry out an ‘economic blast’ in Pakistan.
The president of PML (N) said this while talking to the journalists at the Karachi airport where a large number of party workers came to welcome him.
Talking about the recently reopened NAB cases against him and his brothers, Sharif said that everyone knew who were the real people behind reopening these cases. He also accused his opponents of running an anti-PML(N) campaign
on the media.
Sharing his views on a possible army takeover in the country, Nawaz said that these were just rumours and media should abstain from airing the news that are not based on facts.
After PTI chairman Imran Khan, Nawaz is the only leader who, although quite lately, has realized the importance of putting economy of Pakistan on his agenda. If the economic prosperity of the country is not mere a political sloganeering,
the PML (N) should come forward with a comprehensive roadmap through which it is going to address the economic vows of an ailing Pakistan.
