Uninterrupted fuel supply being ensured for continuous power supply

ensured.
He said that the government is doing this despite the non-payment of dues on part of the thermal power plants producers.
Talking to the reporters of a private television channel, Asim said that the improvement in power generation became possible through the efforts of ministry of Petroleum.
Sharing details of the steps the government is taking to ensure continuous power supply, he said that the supply of furnace oil and gas was being ensured on the directive of the President.
He also said that approval has been granted to increase the daily supply of gas to KESC by 50 MMF during Ramadan, raising the total supply to the utility to 250 MMF from the existing 200 MMF. PSO has also been directed to fulfill
the KESC’s demand for oil.
