Altaf Hussain voices fears for Pakistan’s sovereignty

Expressing fears over the security, sovereignty and integrity of the country, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain urged all stakeholders to think about the survival of the country instead of fighting for power.
Addressing to his party leaders, he observed, “The country’s security, sovereignty and integrity of the country is under threat. It was highly regrettable that instead of thinking about the survival of the country, politicians were busy in power politics”.
Referring to latest development in which the US Congress had recently urged the State Department to designate the Haqqani Group as a terrorist outfit, demanding Islamabad to take action against it.
In his view, Pakistan can also be declared a terrorist country if any leader of this militant organization was found involved in any militant activity anywhere in the world.
Call for an end to clashes between the government, judiciary, military and the opposition, the MQM chief urged all the stakeholders to become to safeguard the sovereignty of the country.
He noted, “Militant organizations formed during the Cold War had turned into Frankenstein monsters, and turned against our own army officers and men”.
Regretting over the role of media, Altaf Hussain said that Pakistani politicians, intellectuals, anchor persons and columnists were not informing the masses about the real facts regarding the national issues.
He warned that most of the international publications including newspapers, magazines and tabloids had reported that a number of US war-fleets had reached Pakistani waters in the Arabian Sea. He, however, said the Pakistani media didn’t bother to report the updates.
Addressing great internal threats to the country he remarked, “Politicians were resorting to one-upmanship at a time when the country was mired in inflation, load-shedding, unemployment and poverty”.
The MQM chief advised his party leaders, elected representatives and office bearers to create awareness among Pakistani people and informed them about the difficult circumstances being faced by the country.

One of the reason for declaring Pakistan a rogue state will be Altaf Hussain and his party who introduced voilence and murders in politics.
Indeed whenever there is a complete chaos or complex situation, Mr. Altaf Hussain step forwards to inform & alert people, Govt., institutions & defense. I don’t care what the opponents call him, for me he is an honest & patriot Pakistani.
This is the high time, opponents need to avoid confrontation with Mr. Hussain & his party (MQM) and pay serious head to his alarming information break!
This shows an utter lack of knowledge & blatantly ignoring the facts, our friend A.K.Anthon’s note has nothing to do with the reality. The violence & massacre of 1964 during Gen. Ayub Khan’s regime by his son Gohar Ayub was even before the creation of MQM. The genocide of Bengali Pakistanis & the violent era of 1971 was also before MQM.
Jamat-e-Islami is known to have introduced violence in Karachi. Even in now-a-days situation PAC, ANP, PPP, Haqiqi, Taliban & others are involved in ethnic & sectarian violence & our friend is targeting MQM (LOL).
