Dishonored will not have multiplayer support

Dishonored is one of those games whose aesthetics and ambience stick in the minds of the players. Not surprisingly, one of its best environments, City 17, is the virtual city where Half Life 2  from Valve originates, and has captured the imaginations of gamers.

To create unique scenarios and leave an impact on players, the developers at Arkane Studios preferred to have a single player gameplay, leaving out multiplayer part aside. Representatives from the studios explained.

“We are committed to a particular game type and guided by the player. We love to create atmosphere and tension. Part of the charm of Dishonored is to be alone in a hostile world, exploring it with ease,” the Arkane Studios spokesman revealed.

“We believe that these things work best in a gaming experience for a single player through missions each have their own history,” he added.

When quizzed about whether there is a possible Wii U version on the horizon, Raphael and Harvey were elusive, saying “they know nothing about that.”
