Musubo’s lime green Ripple Case is easy to handle and prominent to detect – Part 2
Saturday, July 21st, 2012 10:44:58 by Usman KhalidAs it goes with waves, they normally instigate with interference from an outside source. In the iPhone 4/4S case, they start around the camera lens giving the impression that they started when the camera dropped in the iPhone. For iPhone 4S it might be a praise because the phone still has the best camera in the world.
Apart from the case’s innovative design point of view, the new case also has good ergonomics as the eight ripples help in gripping the phone easily.
For small hands, it sometimes becomes difficult to control the handle the device and operate it with the same hand. The ripples actually support the user but providing a handle for easy usage.
At the first glance, the colour coupled with the design does not attract the person at first sight. However, if you swallow the bitter swig and buy it, within no time you will get used to its easy handling. Moreover, the colour is easily distinguishable in thick mess and clutter and the casing is easily detectable to the touch of hand.
Unfortunately, as the days and weeks passed, I noticed another trend: the once pristine lime-green plastic cover has slowly, surely turned brownish-blackish-gray, with the areas of highest concentration of ick on the corners and those raised ripple ridges.
That is the only turnoff in this colour. However, Musubo is known for its colour palette in casings, darker colours will hit the market soon. To the company’s credit, the case did a good job protecting the iPhone from drops, bumps, and jostling. However, still darker shades are the best choice when wear and tear are a big factor.
