Rehman Malik regains his senate seat

from Sindh.
According to the sources, Sonu Khan, the provincial Election Commissioner, issued notice of his success in the Senate election. Malik got elected unopposed after his papers were scrutinized and approved by the election commission.
Malik submitted his papers on Friday for his nomination as senator from Sindh. On same day, by the end of the office hours, no one else had filed papers in the election commission office to contest him.
The seat was lying vacant when Malik had resigned from Upper House of the Parliament taking the dual nationality issue.
Talking to the media reporters on his success for this senate seat, Malik paid his especial thanks to MQM chief Altaf Hussain and Arbab Ghulam Rahim for their support.
