24-year old James Egan Holmes, who tried to be the real-life joker at the premiere of The Dark Knight Rises in Aurora, Colorado, is reportedly facing death threats from the fellow prisoners for what he has done to the lives of so many innocent people.
Holmes is being held in a private imprisonment at the Arapahoe Detention Centre. The investigation is ongoing and the state police is trying to figure out the motive of a PhD student behind this killing spree.
For those who still don’t know what he did at the premier of a Batman series movie, here is a little rundown: On the night of the premier of the Dark Knight Rises at the Century 16 theatre in Aurora, Colorado, this person made it to the venue clad in the
outfit of movie’s famous character, the Joker, and opened fire on the people sitting there. His horrendous act cost some 13 lives and left 50 people in wounds.
Besides this, Holmes is belived to have set up a few other traps for people. The Authorities set off a controlled detonation this past Saturday and they are still trying to disarm his apartment that is likely to have more destructive material.
In the meanwhile, the inmates and prison workers are reporting unusual behavior for Holmes. Some sources have also reported that other inmates have threatened to kill the suspect of movie theatre shooting.
Wayne Medley, who just got released from the prison, shared his views on media. He stated: “All the inmates were talking about killing him. Everyone was looking for an opportunity. It’s all they could talk about.”
