NADRA to obtain Asad’s fingerprints from UK

Islamabad: (Saturday, July 28, 2012) NADRA has contacted the British Immigration office and requested for Mohammad Ali Asad’s finger prints. Asad has been the main character in the Olympics visa scam. Meanwhile, the federal investigation
agency (FIA) will soon present its report on the issue to the Federal Minister for Interior Rehman Malik.

Yesterday, while replying to FIA’s claims that there was no scam in the issuance of visa, the British Immigration Liaison Manager for Gulf, Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan had refused to admit FIA investigations.

Sources are of the view that from the reply that has been submitted by the British Immigration reveals that the claims made by the Pakistani authorities regarding Muhammad Ali Asad are not true.

Replying to the FIAs claims, the British Immigration Liaison Manager wrote that the real Muhammad Ali Asad is a reporter for ‘The Sun’ who travelled to Pakistan and gave a story regarding NADRA and the passport office.
