Nic Graesser and Danielle Bach occupy gold medals – YMCA National Championship

Nic Graesser and Danielle Bach occupied gold medal of the 50m backstroke in Men and Women’s category respectively at the 2012 YMCA National Long Course Championship.

He stayed one arm-stroke ahead of his closest competitor and hit the finishing wall for first position with the timing of 26.01 seconds.

Graesser was chased by Gregoriy Tarasevich, who was only 0.19 seconds apart and secured second fastest spot of the discipline by producing a time of 26.20 seconds.

The second position holder was chased by Sam Lynch, who stayed 1.21 seconds slower from his foregoing finisher and touched the wall with an effort of 27.41 seconds for bronze medal.

Similarly, Lynch enjoyed an advantage of 0.01 seconds over Dylan Sali, who finished fourth in the discipline by producing a time of 27.42 seconds.

Sali was trailed by Taylor Adams, who suffered a deficit of 0.27 seconds from his and transpired on the finishing blockade for fifth best place with the timing of 27.69 seconds

On the other hand, the audience witnessed mind-blowing forms of Bach in the Men’s equivalent event. With her fascinating start, she gained a slight lead over her rivals and showed her urgency towards the finishing blockade for first position with a wonderful
time of 29.93 seconds.

The gold medallist was followed by Maggie Miller, who stayed 0.30 seconds apart and proved her audacity for silver medal by hitting the wall with the timing of 30.23 seconds.

The second position holder was followed by Marianne Kahmann, who was only 0.02 seconds away from upsetting her foregoing finisher and touched the wall for third position with an effort of 30.25 seconds.

Subsequently, Kahmann enjoyed an advantage of 0.07 seconds from her following swimmer, Emily Cornell, who settled on the finishing end as fourth best finisher by producing an effort of 30.32 seconds.

Fifth fastest spot of the discipline was secured by Madeline Hoch, who remained 0.28 seconds behind and emerged on the finishing blockade with an effort of 30.60 seconds.

In addition, the championship came to an end after the completion of all swims.
