Sunday, July 29th, 2012 2:24:34 by Shahrukh SohailThe Pakistan Football Federation will require a No-Objection Certificate from every District Football Association if any organizer wishes to have a tournament in the area.
The Federation’s decision to streamline all the competitions in the country have been met by mixed reviews, but nonetheless they are still confident that it can only lead to a better future for the sport in the country.
A statement in this regard said:
“A specific mechanism has been developed and forwarded to all concerned by the PFF to streamline the system. It said the permission to hold any local football tournament, for men or women, would be given by the District Football Associations (DFA). The organizers
would have to apply on company letter head to DFA at least two months before the beginning of the tournament.”
“Similarly, permission for any tournament of provincial, inter-district or inter-club level would be granted by the Provincial Football Association (PFA),” read the statement.
