Monday, July 30th, 2012 10:31:21 by Fayyaz YaseenLahore: (Monday, July 30, 2012) taking notice of the un-parallel pattern of loadshedding across the country, Lahore High Court ordered here today that there should be uniformity in the loadshedding across Pakistan.
The honorable court ordered this while hearing a petition filed by Advocate Azhar Siddique against the loadshedding during Sehri and Iftaar.
While hearing the case, Chief Justice Lahore High Court (LHC) Justice Umar Ata Bandial said that no discrimination should be done on the issue of loadshedding and ruled that it should be carried out on a uniform basis across country.
During the case proceedings, the Chief Justice LHC also cited the news according to which there was less loadshedding being carried out in areas where the prime minister and other minister reside.
The court has also issued notices to the federal government, Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) and other concerned authorities for August 7.
