Malik Riaz Claims to be implicated in false cases

Islamabad: (Monday, July 30, 2012) Malik Riaz Ahmed, the real estate tycoon and a central character in the Arsalan Iftikhar case, said here today that he was being implicated in false cases which were fabricated only to malign
him. He said that he has sought more time from the court to present additional evidences against Arsalan Iftikhar.

Malik, who appeared before the National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) joint investigation team here today, while talking to the media, said, “The Supreme Court should arrive at a judgment about who is right and who is telling a
lie after weighing the record of the case in which I was declared a proclaimed offender. And award me a life imprisonment in case I am found guilty of lying.”

Malik demanded that the apex court would have to dispense justice to him as he was being involved in false cases.
