Bollywood Sherlyn Chopra poses nude for the pages of Playboy!

Model-actress Sherlyn Chopra, who has done small roles in many Bollywood movies, has made history as the first Indian woman to grace the pages of the famed men’s magazine, Playboy.

Chopra will get naked for Playboy’s November issue and this news has not gone well with the people of her country, where the magazine is banned.

An Indian media commentator criticised Chopra and termed her nude picture as a wound on woman’s integrity.

“At a time when innocent women across the nation from Gujarat to Guwahati have been subjected to sexual abuse and humiliation, one wonders if Sherlyn Chopra’s pictures wound a woman’s integrity,” media commentator Gayatri Sankar wrote.

“Isn’t it an irony that on the one side, as common women strive hard to safeguard their modesty, the Sherlyn Chopras encourage voyeurism?”

However, Sherlyn is completely unfazed with all the noises around her. The Indian hottie is rather feeling proud after shedding clothes.

“I have become the first Indian to pose naked for Playboy, and nobody can take away that achievement from me,” the 28-year-old beauty told BBC Hindi.

“It is not an easy task to be nude in front of the camera and look good at the same time,” the Hyderabad native told BBC.

Though the print edition of Playboy magazine is banned in India, the people from Goa to New Delhi will be able to access the steamy snapshots on the internet.

The edition will be published around Diwali, which many out there think is an intentional move from Playboy to create controversy.

The likes of Veena Malik, Poonam Pandey and Sunny Leone doesn’t need any introduction in the country because of their dare-bare acts but Chopra has really turned heads by becoming a Playboy’s newest cover girl.

Chopra has not told her mother as of yet but she will tell her mother soon about her decision to bare it all in the Taj Mahal of adult glossies.

She said, “My sister is proud of my achievement,” Chopra told BBC. “I haven’t told anything to my mother, but I think I will visit her and tell her that she has to accept me the way I am.”
