Japan’s 3DS XL release witnesses 200,000 units in first weekend

They also revealed that Nintendo has shipped roughly 19 million 3DS worldwide.
The Japanese release has been accompanied by the release of New Super Mario Bros 2 , which will hit Europe on August 17 ??. The title has sold 430,000 units in just three days, another record that makes him one of the most quickly sold cartridges in the catalog of the console.
Comparing the figures Japanese distribution of 3DS with its predecessor, Nintendo DS, it doubles sales in the same periods of time. In its first weekend, Nintendo DS sold 100,000 units , while DSi reported for 170,000 sales in two days.
