Balochistan Independence slogans not tolerable: Kaira

Quetta: (Saturday, August 11, 2012) Federal Minister for Information and member special Cabinet Committee on Balochistan, Qamar Zaman Kaira said here today that provincial government is responsible of maintaining law and order
situation.

Kaira, who was talking to the journalists on his arrival at the Quetta airport along with other members including Farooq H Naek and Sardar Umer Gorgage, said that the committee would present its proposals in the federal cabinet
after consultation with provincial officials concerned, institutions and people.

The minister for information further said that the federal government is also providing its support to the province in maintaining law and order situation.

He further said that the issue of provincial autonomy has been resolved in Balochistan, and that the slogans of Balochistan’s independence by some miscreants are not tolerable.
