Senator Israrullah Zehri calls on PM Ashraf

Islamabad: (Saturday, August 11, 2012) Senator Mir Israrullah Zehri, the Federal Minister for Food Security and Research called on Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf at Prime Minister House here today. During the meeting, the minister
briefed the PM about the affairs of his ministry and updated him about the recent developments.

In the meeting, which did not have a specific agenda, Mir Israrullah Zehri also appraised the PM for the ongoing development schemes in his areas which have initiated on directions of Ashraf.

Expressing his continuous support for the work, and ensuring their expedited completion, on the occasion, the PM also issued orders for release of more funds. The funds are particularly directed towards projects for the supply
of clean drinking water for the local people.

In the meeting with, while talking to Senator Zehri, the PM said that the completion of his government and the parliament’s tenure would strengthen democracy and it would be a sign of maturity of the political forces inside and
outside the parliament.
