Katrina Kaif makes a striking showstopper appearance for Manish Malhotra at DCW!

The uncrowned queen of the Bollywood industry, Katrina Kaif, left everyone flabbergasted by making a striking appearance on the ramp while Manish Malhotra was presenting his extravagant and exquisite bridal collection on the Day Four of the ongoing Delhi Couture Week.

Other celebrities like Karan Johar, Shabana Azmi, Satish Kaushik, Sussane Roshan, Shweta Bachchan Nanda and Aliya Bhatt were also present at the venue in order to cheer the designer from the front but it Katrina who turned heads.

The British-born beauty was looking one of the most gorgeous ladies on planet in the showstopper’s outfit, which was a heavily embellished ivory and gold bridal lehenga with élan.

However, when asked, the 28-year-old insisted that she won’t opt for such a heavy dress in her wedding.

She said, “I have no idea. As the time changes, you like different things. There was a time when I was very fond of green. This is a muted colour. So you have to take it in relation with when the time comes. I don’t know when that time will come.”

She added, “I wouldn’t be wearing this because it’s very heavy. The work on this is very heavy. It has taken many months. It weighs about 10 kilos. But I love Indian clothes. I love the elegance of it.”

B’town diva Katrina is one of the leading ladies of the Hindi cinema at this point in time but she was herself a model once from where her journey started and this is a reason why the actress got nostalgic about her own modelling days.

While sharing thought Kat said, “I always enjoy seeing the models, the clothes on the ramp. It’s always fun. When I used to be on the ramp as a model eight years ago, it always used to be in a certain pace. You had 3 seconds to put on your clothes and you’re out there, running. It feels very very different.”

Katrina Kaif is currently awaiting the release of Kabir Khan’s film ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, in which she will be seen opposite to her ex-flame Salman Khan. The much-anticipated movie will hit the cinemas on the Independence Day.
