England, on July 30.
The higher ranked Marin, who is placed at number 28 in Women’s Singles world placements, displayed an impressive performance and ousted Claudia in an emphatic way.
The aggressive Carolina had to employ all of her reserves in first game but she easily grabbed the second game to end up the contest in two games with a comfortable margin on the score board.
In the meanwhile, the lower ranked Claudia, who was un-seeded in the tournament, played competitive badminton in opening set and lost it with a respectable score.
Nevertheless, the un-seeded Claudia completely failed to play positive badminton in the second game and easily lost the match to Carolina without taking any set.

Claudia could not deal with the mounting pressure and could not stop the aggressive play of her challenger.
In the meanwhile, Carolina remained positive at the ending phase of first game and she bagged it with a reasonable 21-17 margin on the score board.
In the following set, the in-form Spanish player showed her fantastic skills by playing attacking badminton and set up a superb gap on score board until the one-minute mid-game break.
After the interval, Carolina did not allow her rival to draw near on score board as she maintained the pace of rallies at the highest level and kept her opponent under pressure all the way to end up the second game with a killing 21-7 score on the board.
