Celebs who have sprayed negativities about the industry that fed them

Who knew that so many actors and actresses don’t feel as proud of all of their movies as you would think? On many occasions, actors have trash talked their films and directors after the production of the film. While some comments have been made out of anger,
others have been made out of pure disappointment in the result of the movie they were a part of. Here’s a look at some celebs that had less than kind things to say about films they previously worked on.

10. In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Transformers star Shia LaBeouf had less than kind words to say about the movie industry. “There’s no room for being a visionary in the studio system. It literally cannot exist. You give Terrence Malick
a movie like Transformers and he’s f—ed. There’s no way for him to exist in that world.” He then went on to say, “These dudes are a miracle. They give you the money, and they trust you- (unlike the studios, which) give you the money, then get on a plane
and come to the set and stick a finger up your ass and chase you around for five months.”

9. When the third Transformers film came to theatres, it was no secret why Megan Fox was no longer on set. After numerous reports of Fox and the film’s director not getting along, Fox was interviewed on the Early Show and spoke her negative opinion on the
second Transformers film. “This movie is for geniuses,” Fox said, meaning that for someone to figure out what the film is actually about, they would have to be a genius.

8. After the release of the Blockbuster Knocked Up, Katherine Heigl spoke her true opinions on the film to Vanity Fair. Heigl told the magazine that she believes the film is, “a little sexist. It paints the women as shrews, as humourless and uptight, and
it paints the men as lovable, goofy, fun-loving guys. It exaggerated the characters and I had a hard time with it, on some days. I’m playing such a bitch; why is she being such a killjoy? Why is this how you’re portraying women? Ninety-eight percent of the
time it was an amazing experience, but it was hard for me to love the movie.”

7. During a press conference for Mark Wahlberg’s movie, The Fighter, the actor let out his true feelings on his past film, The Happening. “We had actually had the luxury of having lunch before to talk about another movie and it was a bad movie that I did.
She dodged the bullet. And then I was still able to…I don’t want to tell you what movie… alright, The Happening.”

6. When asked about the 2000 thriller film Reindeer Games, actress Charlize Theron said, “That was a bad, bad, bad movie.”

5. When Joel Schumacher contributed to the Batman franchise, it became a common joke among actors. George Clooney couldn’t help but mock the film saying, “it was a difficult film to be good in. With hindsight it’s easy to look back at this and go ‘Whoa,
that was really shit and I was really bad in it.”

4. While filming the sequel to Fantastic Four Jessica Alba got angry enough to say that she was giving up on caring about her acting career due to this movie. When the director told her that they would just CGI tears in because her crying was not pretty
enough, Alba just said “f—ck it, I don’t care about this business anymore.” Alba describes the film as a “low point” in her career.

3. While it would be thought that most actors choose a film for the love of the script, Matthew Goode made sure everyone knew that this was not the case. While speaking about why he chose to be a part of the film, Leap Year, Goode said, “The main reason
I took it – so that I could come home at the weekends. It wasn’t because of the script, trust me. Do I feel I let myself down? No. Was it a bad job? Yes, it was. But, you know, I had a nice time and I got paid.”

2. After Arnold Schwarzenegger made the film, Red Sonja he had this to say about it; “It’s the worse film I have ever made. When my kids get out of line, they’re sent to their rooms and forced to watch Red Sonja 10 times.”

1. When Bob Hoskins was asked what the worst job he had ever done was, what job was his biggest disappointment, and what movie he would remove from his past if he could, he had the same answer, “Super Mario Bros.”
