Childhood, ah it’s a magical time when one is still allowed to be a non-productive drain on society and not feel guilty about it.
However, some children were more focused on things like composing symphonies, performing surgery or getting nominated for the Nobel Prize when most of us spent our childhoods staring at cartoons over bowls of sugary breakfast cereal.
Kids can often make us look angry and do things that can annoy us but there are some who prove otherwise. Here is a list of the child prodigies guaranteed to make you feel bad about yourself.
These brilliant minds are smart, talented and have made us feel secure that the future of this world is in bright hands.
Kim Ung Yong (North Korea)
Kim Ung Young, who born in 1962, is one of the famous child prodigies. He enrolled into university at the age of 4 and earned Phd when he was only 15 years old.
The super-genius was able to read four languages and has the highest in IQ in the world to date.
He might just be the smartest guy alive today (he’s recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records as having the highest IQ of anyone on the planet).
He solved complicated differential and integral calculus problems and he also demonstrated his proficiency in Chinese, Spanish, Vietnamese, Tagalog, German, English, Japanese, and Korean.
He was named in the Guinness Book of World Records under “Highest IQ”; the book estimated the boy’s score at over 210.
From age 3 to 6, Kim was a guest student of physics at Hanyang University. At the age of 7 he was invited to America by NASA.
He finished his university studies, eventually getting a Ph.D. in physics at Colorado State University before he was 15.
The Korean genius began his research in 1974 at NASA and continued this work until his return to Korea in 1978 where he decided to switch from physics to civil engineering and eventually received a doctorate in that field.
He was offered the chance to study at the most prestigious universities in Korea, but instead chose to attend a provincial university.
