Shirish Kunder finally apologises to Shah Rukh Khan for pot-shot on ‘Ra.One’

The editor-turned-director Shirish Kunder and the King of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan locked many headlines in the country earlier this year for having a fight at a party, which was thrown by actor Sunjay Dutt.

The infamous brawl between the two occurred when Shirish, who is married to SRK’s close friend and choreographer-director-and-now-actor Farah Khan, took a pot-shot at Shah Rukh Khan’s mega dud movie ‘Ra.One’ on Twitter.

“I just heard a 150 Cr firework fizzle,” Kunder had tweeted.

However, now all have been forgotten and both the two have called a truce. Shirish took the matter to Twitter where he publically apologised to the people for provoking Khan.

“I’ll always regret one thing that I feel very guilty about. I sincerely apologise for my tweet on ‘RA.One’,” he tweeted.

“I haven’t read the tweet right now. But I am proud of my husband. It takes a big heart to apologise,” she said.

Farah was contacted by the media in order to get her views but she said she is not aware of the tweet. Nevertheless, she insisted that she is proud of her husband since she reckons it needs a great courage to apologise to someone.

Shirish is currently awaiting the release of his film ‘Joker’, which will hit the cinemas on August 31. However, he is under discussion these days because people are assuming as if SRK is helping him in the promotion of his film. The assumptions are being made because SRK recently got photographs clicked with the aliens of Shirish’s new directorial film ‘Joker’.

When Farah was asked about it, she lost her temper and urged people not to spread nonsense.

“Where have you seen Shah Rukh Khan promoting the film? Has he come on any channel to promote it? He just took one picture with the aliens. Please don’t spread nonsense,” she said.

Well, all said and done, Shah Rukh Khan, who is currently participating in the shooting on Yash Chopra’s untitled film, has not responded to Shirish Kunder as of yet. Therefore, let’s wait and see what SRK has to say.
