After ‘Raaz 3’ Bipasha Basu may not have boyfriends
Tuesday, August 28th, 2012 1:16:03 by Imran Shaukat KhanVikram Bhatt’s upcoming horror film ‘Raaz 3’, which is a sequel to Raaz – The Mystery Continues (2009), which itself was a sequel to Raaz (2002), will feature Bipasha Basu as the female lead. Although Emraan Hashmi and Esha Gupta are also playing the leading roles, it is Bipasha who is getting most of the media limelight.
The 33-year-old bong bombshell has told the media that her director instructed her to find a boyfriend before the film releases because he thinks after watching the movie no one would want to become her boyfriend.
“Because once it releases, men are going to be too scared to date you,” Bhatt predicted.
While speaking on her inclusion, Bipasha said,” I have no idea if I’ve managed to get myself a steady (boyfriend) yet, but one thing’s for sure, even I’m frightened of Shanaya (her character) and her manic laughter.”
Bipasha has insisted on several occasions that ‘Raaz 3’ is the scariest movie she has done till date. Perhaps this is a reason why everyone got surprised when the actress, after wrapping up the movie, gave nod to another supernatural thriller, Aatma.
She stated, “It belongs to the same genre, but Aatma is different from Raaz 3D and will give me a chance to face my darkest fears. Hopefully, by the end of Aatma, I will be a little less of a darpok (scaredy-cat).”
“But who knows, maybe in the next film I will be back from the dead,” she said with a laugh, adding, “For the moment, I’m hoping that Raaz 3D will celebrate a golden jubilee like my second film, Raaz (2002).”
She added, “That would compensate for the fact that I had to dig deep into my conscience to play this dark character who is expected to drive the men away.”
Well, all said and done, ‘Raaz 3’ is certainly one of the most eagerly awaited films of this season so let’s see if Bipasha can really live up to the expectations of the audiences.
